The villas at Karma Jimbaran offer the kind of spaciousness and homey composition that makes that makes you feel at home as options abound and full range of features makes for a memorable island sojourn. One enters the villa compounds via lush and traditional Baliness village-inspired pathways, carefully maintained paths that twists throughout the property passing through stands of tropical trees and dense tropical foliage.
Under the traditional alang-alang thatched grass roofs in each guest room are spacious lounge areas with glass walls augmenting the spacious feel. The natural and vivid colours are provided by the touch of orchids and clumps of tube roses that offers soothing aromatic welcome upon entering the pavilions.
Each of the one to six bed room bedroom luxury pool villas takes inspiration from classical Baliness architecture, with two or three pavilions making the courtyard garden complete with aminimum of 6m x 4m swimming pool, outdoor shower and pool deck wet with softly uphoistered sun loungers. The other bedroom villa is wonder in itself. The designs are unmistakably contemporary but perfectly complementedby typically tradiational elements. The living pavilion is airy expensive feel from the high pitched ceilings with exposed rafters and cool marble floors set with low –slung lounges. Throughout the pavilion and room interior local artwork and antique elements subtly capture the spirit of archipelago.
Across the pool towards the towards the villa is a subtle lotus pond. All luxury pool villas boast top of the line amenities including the latest LCD screen audiovisual systems, broadband WIFI internet and top of the line SMEG appliances in the open plain kitchen. The generously proportioned master bedrooms are dominated by four poster canopy beds and boast en-suite bathrooms with oversize tubs and double vanities, while second bathroom feature queen sized beds with both indoor and outdoor showers. The four story six bedroom Grand Residence 2 is a study in opulence with its 22 meter lap pool, 2 lounges and extensive gardens ideal for intimate wedding ceremonies and private festivals/parties.
How here comes my favourite section Karma SPA which offers boutique menu of curative sessions at the new spa and wellness facility. Many ingredients used in Karma SPA treatments are originally grown and harvested. Massage curatives include the holistic ‘Karma Rubdown’ and ‘Blue Light Energy’ massage concocted from organic healing oils and there are also half day Japanese bathing rituals bestowed with seaweed, clay and cherry blossoms in a outdoor bathing area flanked by deep green bamboo.
